The Benton Harbor - St. Joseph YMCA is governed locally by a volunteer board of directors, and many volunteer committees guide the organization. This makes the YMCA responsive to local needs and dependent on the hard-work and generosity of people committed to their community and the YMCA mission.
Board vision and policy is carried out by YMCA staff under the leadership of the Executive Director.
