Aerobic Classes
Zumba Fitness
Zumba is hot-hot-hot fun that's spreading like wildfire in the exercise world! It's a fitness party that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy to follow movements.
Athletic Interval Training
This non-choreographed class alternates athletic anaerobic intervals with aerobic recovery to burn calories! Boost your cardiovascular endurance to new heights. Variations provided for all fitness levels.
Kickbox Cardio
This class uses non-contact kickboxing moves while providing a moderate to intense cardio workout. It's a whole-body workout!
Step Cardio
A great workout which includes a variety of step patterns. Cardio mixer day incorporates different cardio formats and a variety of equipment which provides a fun, well-rounded workout!
Hula-Hooping
Learn the basics of hooping in this fun cardio class while you discover (or re-discover) a great core workout that is both exhilarating and meditative! For the whole story, see the video at left.
Boot Camp
Are you ready to take your fitness conditioning to the next level? Then We Want You! This circuit style format will consist of warm-up, cardio, strength and endurance segments.
Group Cycling
It's fun, invigorating and offers just the right challenge! The instructor will lead you through a variety of great routines; everyone can work at their own fitness level. Specially designed exercise (spinning) bikes provide personal adjustments for a comfortable, customized fit. Click here for a schedule.
Strength Classes
Body Pump
Body Pump (formerly Powerflex) is the original group barbell class! You'll work all your major muscle groups with classic squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Terrific music and awesome instructors!
Abs and More
Strengthen your core body muscles with Yoga, Pilates, and other core techniques!
Core Challenge
This intense class will improve your core strength and overall fitness. It will utilize Stability Balls, Medicine Balls, Gliding Discs and Hand Weights. Variations will be incorporated for all fitness levels!
Body Sculpting
A fun class focused on developing a functional and balanced body. Equipment will be used to add variety. On Monday, it's a Core and Lower Body workout. Wednesday is all about Balance, Flexibility and Relaxation. Friday focuses on your Core and Upper Body. It's a great all-around workout!
Women's Resistance Training 101
Women of all ages will learn the basics of strength training. The program will teach proper posture and lifting techniques, and give you the confidence you need to develop your own training program!
Women's Resistance Training 102 – Build on your skills with more complex lifts and techniques such as functional training, balance, agility, and power!
Men’s Resistance Training – New!
Learn the basics of strength training from a certified personal trainer. You'll learn proper lifting techniques along with tips and suggestions for an effective workout.
Mind & Body Classes
Pilates
A complete program for the body and mind! You'll develop control of muscular movements to enhance strength, balance, flexibility & postural awareness. Class will use the stability ball and fitness circles.
Reebok Flexible Strength
This class blends strength and flexibility, endurance and balance. This ‘power yoga’ contains movements that require a focus of mind and body that is invigorating.
Yoga Moves
This class will benefit you physically and mentally! You'll increase muscle strength and flexibility and finish each class with deep relaxation, leaving you refreshed!
Yoga Fusion – New!
Traditional yoga poses with strength training, cardiovascular work and pilates moves! You'll improve your flexibility and breathing and burn-fat and tone.
Yoga Vibes – New!
Fuse Yoga poses to music with Yoga Vibes! Relax and re-balance yourself by applying movement to clear stress, release tension, and reinvigorate your body and mind. You'll build movement patterns to improve posture, build strength, and improve flexibility.
Adult Dance Classes
Intermediate / Adult Jazz Dance
It's terrific fun that will improve your coordination, rhythm, balance, and confidence! You'll start with warm-up exercises that help develop flexibility and strength, and then work on jazz dance movements.
Adult Beginning Ballet – New!
Explore ballet movement, one of the oldest forms of dance! You'll do ballet bar warm- ups and center floor exercises that will increase flexibility, balance, and strength.
Active Older Adult Classes
Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold is tailored to the older adult, the beginner exerciser, or other individuals who may require special modifications to participate.
Gentle Strength & Stretch
You'll use a variety of equipment for complete strength conditioning and finish with an extended stretching segment. This enjoyable class that will improve your strength, balance, and mobility.
Gentle Yoga
This beginning class is designed to protect your joints. Wear comfortable clothes and come ready to learn basic yoga moves and the diaphragmatic breath.
Sit & Be Fit – New!
A great class for those with limited mobility! You'll perform range of motion, stretching & strengthening exercises while seated as well as some standing functional movements.
Fitness Training and Education
YMCA Fitness Assessment
This is a great tool to assess your current fitness level, establish goals and evaluate your progress! We'll measure your height, weight, blood pressure, body composition, cardiovascular fitness, strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. Get the information and advice you need to enhance your health!
YMCA Fitness Orientations
The YMCA provides a variety of free orientations to help you and your family become familiar with our exercise equipment and apparatus, including the 30-minute Nautilus strength training circuit, free-weights and cardio machines.
Personal Training

Water Fitness Classes
Water fitness classes provide wonderful no-impact exercise that's perfect for those with joint problems or those recuperating from injury. Whether you're aiming for gentle exercise or an intense cardiovascular workout, we have a water fitness class that's right for you.
Hydro FX (Functional eXercise!)
Open to all, this low-intensity class is especially beneficial for those who have had physical therapy. You'll increase flexibility, improve endurance, and enhance strength without placing weight on your lower extremities.
Water Works (formerly Twinges)
Would you like to exercise but have difficulty with arthritis or pain from a physical injury? Then this low-intensity class is for you! You'll improve strength and flexibility while minimizing stress on the joints.
Bodies in Motion
This class is similar to Water Works, but features a bit more cardiovascular intensity!
Splash & Tone Deep Water
This is a great cardio workout using buoyancy belts, resistance bells, noodles, and other equipment. Held in the deep end.
Body Works H20
This complete workout incorporates aerobic as well as muscle strengthening and flexibility exercises. Speedo Aqua Steps are used; swimming skills are not required for this shallow-end class.
Liquid Cardio
You'll improve your strength, flexibility, and balance with this no-impact, total-body cardio workout. Resistance training equipment will also be used. Buoyancy belts are available for the non-swimmer.
Liquid Energy
Perfect for cross-training and designed you make you sweat, this 45-minute shallow-end medium / high intensity workout will improve your cardiovascular edurance!
