YOU CAN MAKE OUR COMMUNITY SHINE ON MAY 18th & 19th!
The Y is organizing a team of volunteers willing to pitch-in and make our community look great to the thousands of guests that will visit during the Senior PGA Championship presented by Kitchen Aid!
The Community Clean-Up happens on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19. The Clean-Up runs from 9-6 pm both days, but volunteers will only need to pitch-in for 2 hour shifts.
So please join us for some community spring cleaning! Contact Jerry Price at 428-YMCA if you'd like to roll-up-your sleeves and shine.
TAKE ON SUMMER! REGISTER NOW FOR GLA-DA-WEN-TA DAY CAMP
Your 5-12 year old kids can enjoy a great camping experience while returning home each day! Gla-Da-Wen-Ta Day Camp, held at Riverview Park in St. Joseph, will help your child discover new skills, make new friends, develop respect for the outdoors, and most of all, have fun!
During the day, children will experience quality camping with hiking, archery, sports, outdoor education, swimming, arts and crafts, games, character development, songs, and skits. Every week, campers will go on a special field trip to an exciting destination!
Camps run Monday through Friday beginning June 11th. There's a different camp theme each week! Drop your kids off at Riverview Park at 9:00 am and pick them up at the Y at 4:30 pm. Extended hours are available for working parents. Click here for details.
THE BRITISH SOCCER CAMPS ARE COMING . . . THIS SUMMER, JUNE 18-22
The YMCA is teaming up with the largest provider of soccer camps in the United States and Canada to provide your children a terrific soccer experience! Kids ages 3 to 14 will be expertly coached by a hand-picked staff from the United Kingdom. The British make soccer special fun for everyone, teaching the right skills the right way!
Pick up a registration form at the Y or sign- up online at www.challengersports.com. All players receive a soccer ball and YMCA T-shirt during camp!

HOT RUN IN THE SUMMERTIME!
THE 2012 RACE FOR THE YMCA COMES TO ST. JOSEPH ON SATURDAY, JULY 21.
Sponsored by Chemical Bank, the Race for the YMCA is a St. Joseph summer classic, featuring a scenic course along beautiful Lake Michigan and the St. Joseph River. Featuring 5K-10K runs and a 5K fitness walk, this is one race you won't want to miss! Register online or download a registration form. Proceeds will benefit the YMCA.
